BLUE BAGS AND RECYCLING

The City of Virginia has an ordinance that requires that all residential refuse be placed in City designated refuse bags, commonly called “blue bags” before it is placed in a City owned dumpster. The City of Virginia encourages residents to use our curbside recycling program as it will reduce the number of blue bags one would have to use.  There is no additional charge to have your recyclables picked up curbside. Click HERE for more information about  recycling.
