Thursdays are Fun Days at the library and each week, we will have a fantastic program.

Craftastic Tuesdays-Each week starting on June 15th between 10:00 and 2:00 visit the library for a fun make' n' take or activitiy. Recommended age range: all.

Simply Stories on Sunny Days- Stop by the library on Wednesday mornings at 10:00 and join the children from Apple Tree Learning Center for a fun storytime

Read & Win with St. Louis County Fair- Read books in July to win free food, admission and a ride at the St. Louis County Fair. The fair will be held July 28th-August 1st. This program is open to children going into 1st through 7th grade in the 2010-2011 school year.

Raffles, Raffles, and More Raffles!- Visit the library each week, get a sticker for your sticker page and an entry in our weekly raffle. If you visit 5 or more weeks, you will earn an extra chance in our big raffle on July 30th!

Event: Read With Chia!
On Fridays, our favorite reading dog, Chia will be here to provide a "pawsitive" reading experience with area readers. Each child who spends 20 minutes reading with Chia will receive a free book courtesty of the Quad Cities Rotary.

Event: Schiffelly Puppets- Cinder-Freckle Frog-Faced Ella. A hilarious spoof on a tale we know so well. This group has won three Emmys for Best Children's Program. Recommended age range: all.

Event: Henry Cole- our reading program illustrator and creator of over 90 books, will be here to talk about his new books. He is a very "animated" and gifted presenter! Recommended age range: 5 and up.

Event: Wolf ridge Raptors- Erin Manning will present a fantastic program with some of her favorite feathered friends. She will talk about what the birds ear, how they hunt, and what is happening to their environment. It's a great program with an unforgettable "experiment" in the middle. Recommended age range: all.

Event: The Great Lego Challenge- We will spend an hour building fantastic Lego creations and will award small prizes in different age  ranges and categories. If any has any Lego blocks they would like to donate to the library, now would be the time! Recommended age: all.
