Our Mission Statement

The Virginia Human Rights Commission gathers information and provides referral services to individuals who feel they have experienced discrimination within the City of Virginia.  We promote a community standard of equal opportunity and freedom from discrimination.

 
Meetings
Regular Quarterly Meetings are held on the last Tuesday of the month in  January, April, July, and October. 

Meetings begin at 5:30 p.m. and are held in the Committee Room in City Hall. (2nd Floor, next to Council Chambers). 

Meetings are open to the public - all are invited to attend!
