Purposes and Functions of the Public Works Department
  1. Maintain streets, alleys, and curb repairs.
    • plow, sand and remove snow
    • paint traffic control aids
    • remove and replace signage
  1. Maintain storm and sanitary sewers.
  1. Schedule garbage and recycling pickups
    • deliver dumpsters to residents and businesses
    • keep public informed on changes in schedules
